I guess we're dating ourselves by calling it a Sissybar instead of a passenger backrest bracket. Either way, you know what we meant, right?
When we set out to build a set of saddlebags for the Chief models, we wanted to make sure we could support as many configurations as possible. One look at the Indian passenger backrest bracket and we smelled trouble. We gave it our best shot, but the extra width and hardware for the quick disconnect was just too much to work around and still make a nice looking set of bags. The only solution was to design our own.
Corbin's sissybar (passenger backrest bracket) is built slimmer and mounts directly to the Indian fender. This gives a much nicer profile while still providing excellent passenger support. Naturally, we offer a matching pad to give your passenger excellent comfort that coordinates with your Corbin saddle.
Hardware comes in gloss black powder coat and mounts to stock locations on the bike. We also built in bungee loops in case you're tying down a pack on your passenger seat.
Passenger pad is built up with our exclusive Comfort Cell foam for comfort and includes genuine leather back panel. We offer a wide range of colors and styles of material to choose from for a totally custom look. Pad mounts easily to the Corbin sissybar and features an ABS rear finishing plate that also has a variety of options included. Leather Look finishing plate shown above.
